Abstract: The cadre personnel file system with Chinese characteristics is an important part of China’s socialist democratic political system. Since the founding of the Party, through the stages of establishment, reform, innovation and development, the file materials have been gradually enriched, the work process has been gradually standardized, the management procedures have been stricter, and the file efficiency has been increasingly enhanced. It is not only inherited from the historical system, but also adapted to the new requirements of the new period, showing the characteristics of the integration of phased stability and intermittent change. The cadre personnel file system in the new era will be connected with the digital technology, move towards systematization, modernization and scientization, comprehensively improve the quality of cadre personnel files, and better serve the vast number of cadre talents and the great cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era.
