Abstract: With the continuous development of social economy, science and technology, scientific and technological innovation in the field of natural resources has become an important support for China's sustainable economic development and homeland security. High-level scientific and technological talents in the field of natural resources are the main force of scientific and technological innovation in this field. Therefore, strengthening the evaluation of high-level scientific and technological talents in the field of natural resources is of great significance to meet the need of economic and social development. This paper explores and constructs an evaluation index system and scoring method for high-level scientific and technological talents in the field of natural resources from the aspects of the practical progress of the evaluation of scientific and technological talents in the field of natural resources and the analysis of the evaluation experience of scientific and technological talents at home and abroad, for the sake of providing reference for the evaluation of high-level scientific and technological talents in China.
